Kaylyn Wang, daughter of Cedar and Peter Wang and a senior at Hawthorne Christian Academy in Hawthorne, NJ, recently earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36. Only around two-tenths of one percent of students who take the ACT earn a top score. In the U.S. high school graduating class of 2018, only 3,741 out of more than 1.9 million graduates who took the ACT had a top composite score of 36. Additionally, Kaylyn has been named a Commended Student in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.
