Eastern Christian School Is Expecting to Offer On-Campus Instruction in the Fall

Eastern Christian School, with campuses in North Haledon (high school), Wyckoff (middle school) and Midland Park (pre-school and elementary), recently announced that it is expecting to have on-campus instruction in the fall.

In a wesbite post, Thomas Dykhouse, Executive Director and Head of School at Eastern Christian School, said, “It is our operating assumption that we will be offering safe, in-person, on campus instruction beginning September 1, 2020.”

Mr. Dykhouse also noted that alternative options are also being developed and further explored for students who may have underlying health conditions or are otherwise hesitant to return to campus.

“We are awaiting guidance from state and local authorities on many issues and are developing plans for a number of different scenarios,” he said. “As this guidance becomes clearer and our plans develop, we are committed to regularly communicating with our school community throughout the summer.”

Also in the fall, Eastern Christian School will partner with Geneva College (Beaver Falls, PA) to launch Geneva College Eastern Campus in North Haledon, NJ. Click here for article.
