Ditto has re-opened its doors with a big sale following a lengthy layoff due to COVID-19.

On a Facebook post, ditto, an upscale retail store in North Haledon, NJ, announced the re-opening and also noted that the store will not accept donations until further notice “until we can ensure the safety of our donors and volunteers.”

The temporary store hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The number of customers allowed in at one time will be managed, masks must be worn and social distancing (6-10 feet) observed. Groups should be limited to two or three people. Fitting rooms and rest rooms are closed at this time for precautionary reasons, and all sales are final.

The re-opening sale, which goes through June 27, features a 25 percent discount on all clothing and accessories (does not include jewelry), a red dot décor sale, and furniture has been marked down.

All proceeds from ditto benefit the variable tuition program at Eastern Christian School, with ten percent of its profits being donated to other non-profits and charitable organizations in the community.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Ditto is also seeking volunteers to work in the store. Volunteers receive a 20% discount. In addition, ditto is offering a scholarship (based on hours volunteered) to Eastern Christian School parents who volunteer. Parents can earn $10 in scholarship for every hour they volunteer, up to $1,000.00 (one Scholarship per family, which can only be applied to the current year). Please call (973) 423-4886 during store hours and speak with Tim, Linda, or Deb about volunteer opportunities that are available.
