Dr. Mac Pier, founder of Movement.org, and a host of local pastors and ministry leaders are inviting Christians in Metro New York City to gather online for “An Evening of Prayer and Vision” on Tuesday, October 20th at 6 p.m. The event seeks to unite and catalyze the region to impact a million new Metro New Yorkers with the gospel and bring Bible translation to 1 billion people living in Bible poverty (3,896 languages need translation) around the world.

An Evening of Prayer and Vision, hosted live on Facebook and broadcasted from Beraca Baptist Church in Brooklyn, is being held in conjunction with Movement Day NYC.

Movement.org and a local commitee are seeking to bring over 100 churches together on the night of October 20.

“For the past thirty years, more than 2000 churches have prayed for a Spiritual Awakening in Metro NYC,” Pier said. “Our vision is to see 250,000 Christians praying daily to reach 1 million Metro New Yorkers with the truth of the gospel and for hundreds of churches to unite to see the Bible translated into every language within our lifetime.”

Mart Green, Founder of Every Tribe Every Nation, and leaders from throughout the Metro New York area will intercede on behalf of our local neighbors and the world. Every Tribe Every Nation is a collective impact alliance that is partnering to provide God’s Word in everyone’s heart language in a format they can engage with, so their lives may be transformed.

“On October 20, we will gather, pray, and commit ourselves afresh to these efforts,” Pier said. “Please join these leaders and many others as we journey together to bring Light into the darkness of our world. The future is up to us.”
