Attorney Dan Buttafuoco recently commented on a video of a Zoom court hearing that strayed into absurdity when a lawyer could not turn off a cat filter.
The mishap occured on a Zoom session of the 394th Judicial District Court in Texas.
“I’m not a cat. I’m here live,” said the frustrated attorney.
On Linkedin, Buttafuoco said “lawyers, especially older ones, using Zoom technology can lead to some funny results!” (story continues after ad)
Buttafuoco, the founder and senior partner of Buttafuoco and Associates, is the author of Consider the Evidence: A Trial Lawyer Examines Eyewitness Testimony in Defense of the Reliability of the New Testament. He is also the founder and president of the Historical Bible Society.
Regarding the viral, cat-courtroom episode, Buttafuoco called it “hilarious.”
“Glad I didn’t do this!” he said.
