Eastern Christian School Appoints New High School Principal

Eastern Christian School recently announced the appointment of Mr. Daniel Cirone as high school principal, starting July 1, 2022.

Cirone has served in a number of roles at Fort Lee High School including AP/Honors English and Composition teacher, English Department Chair, and Academic Council member. He has received multiple Coach of the Year awards as head coach of winter and spring track. He holds a BA in English and Education from Rowan University, an MA in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University, and NJ teacher and principal certificates. Cirone, his wife Erika, and their three daughters, are active members of Cornerstone Christian Church, where he volunteers as worship leader.

Cirone is excited about combining his dual passions of developing the pursuit of higher knowledge and independent thinking in students, with partnering in community to instill the love of Christ into young people. He brings enthusiasm for scholarship and intellectual discourse, as well as a passion for apologetics. “I’m really excited to start with the EC team and the EC family,” he says. “In a Christian school environment, I get to directly impact young people in their education and their faith walk and worldview development, and I also get to join a community of professionals who are passionate about these same things.”
