Cornerstone 5K and Fall Festival

Cornerstone Church in Wyckoff, NJ is hosting its inaugural 5K & Fall Festival, on Saturday, October 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This community event promises a day filled with fitness, family activities, and fall festivities, all while supporting a worthy cause—Cornerstone’s youth mission trip in the summer of 2025.

The event will kick off at 9 a.m. with a 5K race through the scenic grounds of Cornerstone and Wyckoff Community Park. For those seeking a more leisurely pace, a 1.5-mile Family Fun Run/Walk will follow at 10:15am. Both events are designed to accommodate participants of all fitness levels and ages.

Following the races, the community is invited to a Fall Festival featuring bounce houses, face painting, lawn games, and an array of local food trucks. The festival will run until 1p.m.

“We’re thrilled to bring this event to our community,” said Luke Osterhus, avid runner and Director of Elementary Education at Cornerstone. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, enjoy the beautiful fall weather, and support a great cause. All proceeds from the event will go towards our youth missions trip planned for summer 2025.”

Early bird registration is now open, with special pricing available through August 31:

– 5K Run: $30 per runnner

– Fun Run/Walk: $25 for individual walkers

– Family Fun Run/Walk: $40 per family

The 5K race will feature awards for overall winners and age group categories. All 5K participants will receive a T-shirt, tracking bib, water, and energy snacks.
